AirPort Utility 6.3.1 for Mac Description:

About AirPort Utility on Mac
Use the AirPort Utility app on your Mac to set up and manage your wireless network and AirPort base stations, including AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule. Then use AirPort Utility to monitor your network and change base station and network settings.

You can also use AirPort Utility to manage advanced features, such as security modes, wireless channels and IPv6 configuration. Or to create and manage larger and more complex networks — for example, a WPA Enterprise network with a Radius server.

Tip: You can use AirPort Utility on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to monitor your network.

AirPort Utility 6.3.1 for Mac Info:

Set up a new base station using AirPort Utility on Mac
You can set up a new base station using AirPort Utility on your Mac or AirPort Utility for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Physically connect the base station to your modem
Connect the power lead to the Power port  on your base station, then plug the power lead into a power point.

Connect an Ethernet cable to the WAN port  on your base station, then plug it into your DSL or cable modem.
Note: If you don’t use a modem, or connect in a different way, get connection instructions from your ISP.

Set up the base station using your Mac
On your Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon  in the menu bar, then choose the base station listed under New AirPort Base Station.
Follow the onscreen instructions.

AirPort Utility Setup Assistant automatically provides the best solution for your network. If no network is found, the setup assistant creates a new network; if a network is already set up, the setup assistant extends the existing network (see Extend an existing Wi-Fi network).
If you want to set up your network using different settings, click Other Options.

Set up the base station using your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
On your device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, then tap the name of your base station (for example, “AirPort Extreme 0affff”) listed under “Set up new AirPort base station”.
